According to a survey by monster.com, would-be employees seek a caring company with better benefits and fulfilling work over salary. The survey revealed that potential employees want to work for a company “that truly cares about the well-being of its employees.” What’s important? Survey respondents say:
- 84% prefer a fulfilling, challenging position
- 82% cited job security as very important
- 74% opt for an attractive benefits package
- A high-base salary received a lower ranking at 66%
The survey further indicated a strong connection for companies that care for the welfare of employees, providing monetary security beyond the paycheck. 82% of workers say that being offered financial protection benefits shows that a company cares about the well-being of its employees.
